2026 UConn Extension Vegetable and Small Fruit Growers’ Conference

UConn Extension's Vegetable and Small Fruit Growers' Conference features learning sessions, networking opportunities, research poster presentations, and a trade show. On average, roughly 200-225 people have attended this conference in the past few years. Bring your questions, challenges, and success stories to share with our network of Extension Educators, experienced and beginning farmers, and agricultural service providers.

Participant Registration Details

Registration can be done online or through the mail.

Early Registration (by December 14): $55
Regular Registration (after December 14): $75
College/University Matriculated Students: $35

Who Attends: Commercial Vegetable Growers, Commercial Fruit Growers, Aspiring Farmers, Agricultural Service Providers, Educators, and Students

Registration Fee Includes:

  • Admission to Sessions and Trade Show
  • Morning Refreshments, Lunch, and Afternoon Refreshments
  • Pesticide Recertification Credits - Amount Pending
  • Parking

Online registration closes December 21, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. Walk-in registration may be available but space is not guaranteed.

We can only accommodate those with dietary restrictions who register prior to December 22nd. For those with severe food allergies, while we will make every effort to accommodate them but we cannot fully guarantee the prevention of cross-contamination. If needed, you may consider bringing your own lunch for added peace of mind.

Trade Show and Sponsorship Details

Premium Trade Show Registration: $500

Registration includes a 6 six-foot table space, two attendant registration, 1/2 page advertisement in program and day of conference advertisement.  

Basic Trade Show Registration: $200

Registration includes a 6 six-foot table space and one attendant registration. You will be able to register up to 2 additional trade show attendants at $50.00 per person during check out.

Trade show set up is from 7:15-8:00 am, there will be 3 breaks during the conference for participants to visit trade show, cleanup is after 2:30 pm. Tables are on a first come first serve basis, register early in case spaces sell out!

Seedling Sponsor: $125

Includes business card size advertisement in conference program and day of conference advertisement. (Seedling sponsor does not include trade show or participant registration) 

  • Any business or individual can be a seedling sponsor. You do not need to attend the conference to be a seedling sponsor.
  • Seedling sponsorship can be added on to basic trade show registration during checkout. 

Trade show and sponsorship registration closes December 21, 2025 at 11:59 PM, unless it sells out earlier.

Parking Details

Parking for the conference will be in the South Parking Garage, 505 Jim Calhoun Way, Storrs CT 06269. Parking is included in the registration price. Be sure to look out for an email prior to the day of the conference with an event parking link to register for validated parking.

To get from the South Parking Garage to the Student Union, make your way from the garage towards Hillside Road. Take a left onto Hillside Road, and then the Student Union will be the second building on your right. Signs will be posted to help guide you along the way.
